A pin and its leaf on which it crawled are impressive as if Wakamatsu is writing the leaf on the pine tree and showed youth.
「鶴」と「若松」が描かれています。繊細な線が羽毛や葉の先を表現していて、簡略ながらも繊細な作りです。鶴の背景には背の低い葦のような植物を配置し、鶴の高さを表現しているようです。振り返り左を向く様子は、突然聞こえた物音に注意を払うように見え、緊張感を感じます。若松は松の木では葉を書いており、若さを示すかのようにピンとはった葉が印象的です。
