兵庫県の須磨のあたりが描かれています。田園に囲まれており、所々に大きな池や沼がみえます。水の表現には波紋を使っているようで、静止した風景の中にも動きが感じられます。街道が整備されているようで、この地域を人がよく通るようすがうかがえます。手前は恐らく海だと思われます。
摂津名所図会下巻の4から10まで続く長大な挿絵の一部です。池の表現が独特でおもしろい挿絵です。
