Those who extract the grass which grew in the rice field are drawn on the upper part.

In the middle, husband and wife have drawn water.
It seems to be the bucket which followed the long string.
It is the same as the bucket used for a well.
The man who mows the ear of rice which fruited is drawn on the lower part.
It turns out that metal sickles are used.
田んぼで働く農民の姿が描かれた、江戸時代の農業の一場面です。「女大学/4」の右側です。
上部には、たんぼに生えた草を抜く人が描かれています。見る限りは、女性ばかりのようです。中段には、夫婦が水を汲んでいます。長い紐をつけた桶のようです。井戸に落とした釣瓶とおなじでしょう。下部には実った稲穂を刈り取る男性が描かれています。金属製の鎌を使っているのがわかります。
