“hemp palm” is the evergreen arboreal vegetation of Palmae.it is used for a rope etc.
It looks a little comically probably because of the way of drawing which looks like the top rate of comics.
「そてつ」「しゅろ(棕櫚)」が描かれています。左端は分かりませんでした。「しゅろ」はヤシ科の常緑高木で、シュロ縄などにつかわれます。漫画のコマ割りのように見える描きかたのせいか、ややコミカルにみえます。
